April Artwork of the Month
Our Guest Speaker for April was Jo Lysaght. Jo talked about her process and brought along a selection of her work. Thank you Jo for sharing your artistic process with our members.
Jo also selected the winning Artwork of the Month - the winner was Sheila Christensen

Message from the Club President
In 2025 Masterton Art Club applied for and received two grants. The first for $5,000 from Masterton Trust Lands Trust towards the painting of the Club exterior. The second for $10,000 from Trust House towards painting and improvements to car parking.
The painting of the roof and building exterior (including windows) is now complete. Quotes have been sought for improvements to the parking area.
The Club is very pleased with the improvements. The exterior is now watertight and sound.
The Club members and committee wish to express again how grateful we are to have received these two significant grants.

What's on at the
Masterton Art Club
Club Sessions for Members:

Wednesdays and Thursdays, Club day/Open Studio – 10am to 1pm

Wednesday evenings, Club Day/Open Studio – 6pm to 8pm (except for the last Wednesday of the month).

Last Wednesday of the month from Wednesday 25 February – Members’ gathering with Artwork of the Month and Guest speaker at 6pm.

Fourth Saturday of each month starting on Saturday 24 January – Book Art for members.
